Our first GATHER hike. A chance to get out and experience a different of London.
Epping Forest covers of 300km in area, and we will cover just over 10km of it on the Oak Trail. The details of the trail can be found here: https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/assets/Green-Spaces/oak-trail.pdf
We will meet at Theydon Bois Underground Station at 11am on Saturday 30th September & head from there.
This trail is cited as undulating, uneven and challenging. It uses tracks, pavements and well-trodden paths to guide you around ancient earthworks of Ambresbury Banks and past the Deer Sanctuary.
